Ask the assistants
Five prompts you can paste into an AI assistant to see whether it names your business. Nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is stored. You ask, and you read the answer.

What to look for
Try each prompt in more than one assistant. They read different sources, so being named by one and missed by another is common and is itself useful information. The ones worth trying are ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok, Google AI.
- Are you named at all? That is the first question, and the only one with a yes or no answer.
- If you are named, are the details right? A wrong phone number or an old address means your listings disagree with each other somewhere.
- Who is named instead of you? Those are the businesses the assistant currently trusts for that question.
- Ask the same thing twice. Answers vary between runs, so one absence is not a verdict and one mention is not a guarantee.
If you are not there
